Prayer is practicing the presence of God. It is the place where pride is rejected, hope is restored, and requests are made. Prayer is where we can honestly admit our need, humble ourselves, and acknowledge our dependence upon God. Every Christian who wants to grow in Christ must practice prayer. Through prayer we exercise our faith and hope in God. And by prayer we have the privilege of touching the very heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.
“6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." - Phil. 4:6-7
Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.
